AST (Abroad Scholarship Test)

AST (Abroad Scholarship Test) is a collaborative project of Pak International Educational Advisors and Sohail Education Advisors. Since 2021, we've been providing education, immigration, and consultancy services for studying abroad, with a focus on MBBS in China and Central Asia. We partner with top-ranked universities and help students win fully/partially funded scholarships for diploma, engineering, bachelor’s, master’s, and Ph.D. programs. Our mission is to produce internationally qualified professionals to address Pakistan's shortage of skilled experts. With over 400 Chinese universities and more than 600 global partners, we are the largest platform for Pakistani students applying to Chinese universities.

AST

Abroad Scholarship Test

In 2023, we introduced the 1000 Scholarships Program for Pakistani students, offering 200 scholarships each year to MBBS and Engineering students in Chinese universities through the AST (Abroad Scholarship Test). After successfully conducting AST for the September 2024 intake, we are now launching AST 2025.

The program aims to support students in preparing for studies abroad and achieving their goals. We organize interactive career-guidance seminars across the country to inspire talented individuals.

AST is dedicated to discovering and nurturing talent in Pakistan through the 1000 Scholarships Program, with a focus on Medical and Engineering fields taught at advanced levels in Chinese universities. Our goal is to develop a highly skilled workforce that enhances research and development in their respective fields and strengthens the local medical sector. By promoting foreign scholarship programs, we aim to introduce new techniques and technologies to Pakistan, contributing to the country’s socio-economic growth and development.

Syllabus

Following subjects are included in the syllabus of AST.

There are no criteria set for marks division among these subjects. Every student will have different marks division and different paper. We will follow the standards of PMC in paper settings.

Eligibility

Every student having Pakistani nationality and have Intermediate Level educational certificate (In Medical Field) from a government authorized institute/college can apply for this scholarship.

Student must have 60% marks in Biology.

Scholarship Criteria

There are three categories of scholarship.

If a student scores of between (91 to 100) will get 100% scholarship.

If a student scores of between (61 to 90) will get 50% scholarship.

If a student scores of between (50 to 60) will get 25% scholarship.

Test Instructions and Procedure

Apply online on http://www.astmbbs.com/. Your application will be verified by the AST Authority after scrutiny of your details. After verification, your account will have been created than you have to upload your documents on the portal.

Note: Without these documents, the student will not be allowed to appear in the test (Apply for your passport on urgent bases if you are really interested)

AST September Intake

2025 is going to be conducted nationwide from 5th August to 15th September in different cities. The test date will be different for every test center. AST Authority will share the center list after receiving your application. The test will be conducted online, but at physical test centers. Students will arrive at test centers to attempt the test. Each student can appear in only 1 AST. If a student gets ill 1 day before the test, it can also be rescheduled to another center. AST will be conducted on a computer-based system rather than the old system of pen & paper. AST Results will be displayed on the computer/laptop/tablet/mobile phone screen immediately after the student finishes the test. The student will bring his/her own gadget to solve the test.   • The student can download and check his/her result right after submission of paper within zero second.
  • After placement of the final merit list, the student will finalize his/her admission procedure within 3 weeks.
  • Make sure to arrange a laptop, tablet or cell-phone with an active high-speed internet connection. AST Authority will not provide any type of gadget to solve the paper.
  • Please! Use Google chrome to login for better Experience during Test.
  • AST Authority has right to cancel the result of any student if found any discrepancy.
  • AST Authority will declare the deadline of documents submission after the display of final merit list. After due date the application will not be entertained.
  • The student has to visit our office along with original documents to complete the admission procedure.

Required Documents at Final Stage:

the final processing of your visa is being completed and you are going to receive your visa. It takes about 10 business days to receive the visa after an "issued" status.
